Ans: To get the SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI1 CARD you just have to follow the below mentioned simple steps:

. Visit your nearest MMRDA Metro station in line 2A and 7 and request for the SBI-MMRDA  
MUMBAI1 CARD at the TOM counter  
. Fill your details in the simple application form (available in Hindi as well as English) and  
submit it to the operator.  
. After the operator has entered the details, an OTP will be generated and sent to your  
registered mobile number.  
. Share the OTP for validation, Pay the card issuance fee and top-up amount to load balance  
on the card for usage.  
. After the validation you will get the SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI 1 CARD instantly.

Q.4. Where do I buy SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI 1 Card?  
Ans: SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI1 CARD is available at all 30 stations of MMRDA line 2A and 7.  
Instant Non-Personalized cards are available at all 30 MMRDA stations by filling up the physical application  
form (or) an eForm available in customer portal, https://transit.sbi  
ELIGIBILITY  
Q.5. What all documents should I mention in the application form when I purchase a SBI MMRDA  
Card?  
Ans: Basic KYC norms will have to be completed. The customer approaching the station needs to fill a  
simple application form and mention one of the 5 OVDs (Officially Valid Documents):  
o Passport Number  
o Voter ID  
o Driving License Number  
o NREGA Job card  
o Letter issued by the National Population Register containing details of Name, Address, or  
Any other document as notified by the central government in consultation with the  
Regulator.

Q.6. What does a SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI1 CARD Card kit contain?  
Ans: Along with SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI1 CARD, the Card kit contains SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI1 CARD  
booklet containing terms and conditions and other necessary details along with Welcome Letter

Q.7. How many times can the card be re-loaded?  
Ans: Any number of reloads is allowed till the expiry of Card upto Rs. 10,000 per month.  
Q.8. How do I check the balance on my SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI1 CARD?  
Ans: Visit your nearest MMRDA Metro Station and tap your MMRDA card on the Ticket Readers (TRs)  
installed at every station. Information regarding the card balance and the last five transactions will be  
displayed on the screen.  
LOST/ STOLEN  
Q 9. What do I do if my SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI1 CARD is lost or stolen? How to get Replacement  
Card/PIN/ How to regenerate ATM PIN  
Ans: If your card is lost, stolen or damaged, please follow the below mentioned steps:  
i.  
Report the information immediately at TOM Counter/Customer Portal or SBI Contact Centre  
800 88 99 (toll free) or land line number 080-26599990 (toll) 24x7 and request for blocking

the lost/stolen card or  
ii.  
The contact centre executive will ask for identification details, e.g. Card Number, Mobile  
Number etc. On receipt of the information, your card will be blocked to ensure that it is not being  
used fraudulently by any unauthorized person. A ticket number will be sent to your registered  
mobile number after blocking of the card.  
iii.  
Visit your nearest MMRDA metro station for Card Replacement and submit a simple request  
letter for the same. After ensuring that your previous card has been blocked, a fresh  
replacement card will be issued to you.  
Q.10. what will happen to the balance in my SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI1 CARD, if the validity of the card  
is expired?  
Ans: Annual maintenance fee of Rs 0/- per year will be charged to customer and balance will be refunded  
to the applicant on application from the MMRDA SBI Branch  
Q.11 How can I use my SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI1 CARD at Line 2A and 7 metro stations?  
Ans. MMRDA Card has a unique feature with Stored Value (Wallet) balance which can be used at  
Metro. Transactions in off-line mode are executed from the Stored Value (Wallet) balance in the card.  
Step-by-step procedure to be followed for using SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI1 CARD for Metro rides is as  
below:

. Visit your nearest MMRDA Metro Station at line 2A and 7. Tap the card at the entry gate  
and as the gate opens, proceed to the platform for boarding the metro.  
. After completing the journey, tap the card again at the exit gate of destination station.  
. The fare amount for the journey undertaken will be debited from the stored value balance  
on the card at the exit gate.

Q.12 How can I top-up my card? What is the Maximum and Minimum limit for topping up of card?  
Ans. You can reload the balance on your SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI1 CARD through one of the following  
modes of top-up:  
i.  
At MMRDA Metro Stations: You can recharge your card by paying in cash or by using  
credit/debit cards at any of the MMRDA Metro Stations at lines 2A and 7  
ii.  
Through Online Channel: You can also recharge your card online by visiting the  
customer portal at https://transit.sbi, then Visit the nearest MMRDA Metro stations at  
line 2A and 7 and update your card balance using the equipment installed at every  
station such as Ticket Reader (TR), TVM, AVM and Ticket Office Machine (TOM).  
Information regarding the card balance and the last 5 transactions will be displayed  
on the screen. Please note that the top-up done through online payment gateway  
channel will be updated on the card as and when the card balance will be updated  
using the equipment installed at the Metro Stations.

Q.13 Where should I contact in case of any Issues or grievances related to my SBI-MMRDA  
MUMBAI1 CARD?  
Ans. You may call our 24X7 Customer Care on SBI Contact Centre 1800 88 99 (toll free) or land line  
number 080-26599990 (toll) in case of any grievances. Alternatively, you can also mail your queries at:  
contactcentre@sbi.co.in.  
Q.14 Customer tries to load the card but shows the error amount exceeds  
Resolution:  
i. Check the current card balance, if the current card balance + the load amount is exceeding Rs 2000,  
kindly guide the customer that the Maximum Amount that can be loaded on the card is Rs 2000 only  
Ex: If the current balance on the card is Rs.100 post balance sync, then only a Top-up of Rs.1900 is  
allowed on the card`  
ii. Also please guide the customer to do the Balance Sync transaction at a device first to get the actual  
balance, before initiating the Top-up  
Q.15 Card Replaced but old card amount is not transferred to new card  
Resolution:  
i. For Balance transfer, Customer should hotlist the old card. Check whether old card is hotlisted or not  
ii. If the old card is not hotlisted, then ask the customer to hotlist the card  
iii. If card is already hotlisted, advise the customer that balance from old card to the new card shall be  
transferred after 7 working days  
Ex: If the old card is hot listed then Balance shall be transferred after 5 working days. In case the balance  
is not transferred even after 5 working days of card hotlisting, please register a complaint with SBI  
Q.16 Excess Debit/Double Debit  
Resolution:  
i. Please check the customer statement in TOM application and inform the customer of the transaction  
details  
ii. In case the customer is not satisfied, register a complaint in SBI CMS  
Q.17 What is the validity of this card? What happens to my balance after the card expires?  
Resolution:  
i. The Validity of SBI-MMRDA MUMBAI1 CARD is 5 Years, subject to conversion to full KYC within 24  
months of issuance of card.  
ii. Once the card is expired, customer must apply for a new card and the balance amount in the old card  
shall be transferred to the new card within 5 working days of the issuance.  
Q.18 Process of Green PIN Generation  
Green PIN can be generated through SBI’s Customer portal https://transit.sbi as under (to be managed by  
the bank only):  
i.  
Customer logs into Customer Portal with his unique Username & Password and selects the «Set  
PIN / Change PIN» option.  
ii.  
The «Set PIN / Change PIN» form in the customer portal will have an option to select the masked  
card number from the dropdown and enter the card’s expiry month & Year in MM/YY format) &  
CVV. Once expiry & CVV details are entered, customer must click «Generate OTP».  
«Generate OTP» option shall trigger an OTP to the customer’s registered mobile number upon  
successfull card data validation. In case of any incorrect card details (Expiry / CVV), an error  
message will be dispayed on the screen (Incorrect card details) and OTP will not be triggered to  
the customer.

OTP generation with correct card data shall be allowed untill three attempts only. After three  
unsuccesful attempts, the option to Set / Change PIN shall be blocked for the respective calendar  
day.  
The next form after successful OTP generation will have the following options for customer entry:  
a) «OTP»  
b) «Set PIN»  
c) «Confirm PIN»

A virtual keypad will also be provided for setting PIN.

Once customer enters the OTP correctly with the new PIN & clicks on Submit, PCMS will set the  
PIN for the customer.

The process for Resetting the old PIN will remain same wherein customer has to log-in to the  
customer portal and follow the «Set PIN» process as mentioned above.  
PIN set through OTP shall be allowed untill three attempts only. After three unsuccesful attempts,  
the option to Set / Change PIN will be blocked for the respective calender day.  
Q.19 Card Usage without PIN Generation  
Without PIN generation:  
i.

Customer can load the card chip balance from metro station’s ticket counters  
Customer can use the card chip balance for offline transactions such as Tap IN/ OUT of the metro  
automatic gates.
